#thrifted is all about the good that can come from thrift shopping. Never thrift shopped before? Don't worry I don't have much experience in it either. As someone who loves fashion, however, I have found a wide array of stylish clothing and other items at thrift shops for everyday low prices. Even better than finding those one-of-a-kind items, thrift shopping is socially responsible. Something I just learned: the profits earned from frequenting thrift stores, such as Saint Vincent de Paul, stay in our community and help fund
programs that aid people in need. Shopping and helping people at the same time: What could be better?
This blog will showcase my journey as I learn how to get the most out of thrift shopping. I hope to share helpful tips on how to thrift shop, showcase unique thrift items I find at the SVDP stores, and inform you how thrift shopping helps other people.

I studied fashion design at Ball State University for 3 year until life threw me a few curve balls and my priorities changed. With that being said, fashion remains my secret little obsession and any new tips and tricks are something I thrive to find. My 7 year old and I recently started looking at thrift shops so as to better afford our mutual hobby and while still new to it we have begun to find amazing deals and great selections. I can't wait to read more about what you learn about thrift shopping and how to do it for a good cause.
ReplyDeleteI think that thrift shopping is a great, cheap, practice for women with families. If you learn to thrift shop effectively, it can become fun for both you and your daughter! It will be the clothes that are drawing you back with the added bonus of it being a good cause! Thanks for commenting!
